The Challenge

Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre (NWOIC) wanted to revamp their website, but they only had a few rough ideas to start on. They wanted their website to prominently promote their desire to inspire and encourage new businesses in Northwestern Ontario.

The Approach

Sencia worked with NWOIC to flesh out their ideas and shared several concepts and ideas before settling on the final design. Their homepage displays a scrolling “current activities” feed that separates their events into four categories; featured, events, blogs and news articles. Several ready-for-content page templates were also developed to make it easy to update or add pages with a consistent style while breaking them up in an easy to read format.

 

The Result

The NWO Innovation Centre website is now a hub for information, workshops and resources for Northwestern Ontarians that are currently running, or looking to start new businesses. Their website is fully responsive, which means all their valuable content is accessible on desktop, tablet, mobile or any other web browser.
